TRAINING AND MENTORING
Overview
CEDA plays a critical role in the economy by providing entrepreneurship development, through funding, training and mentoring. Training and mentoring are interconnected as they both attempt to cultivate the right entrepreneurial skills by providing the CEDA beneficiaries with hand holding services for business related functions such as marketing management; financial management; operations management, and human resources management. Provision of these is an attempt to address either the lack of or inadequate business skills.
Mentoring is a nurturing process that fosters growth and development; get one further than she/he would have gotten alone.This involves coaching, and counseling from a mentor.It is a two way process where a mentor imparts his/her knowledge and the mentee shares his/her experience for them to reach a common goal of the success of the business.
