Agribusiness division focuses on financial sustainability through the development of viable agricultural businesses. Agribusiness loans are made available to add value to the agriculture industry that shall continue to address the challenges of poverty and unemployment.

PROPERTY AND MANUFACTRING

CEDA offers loans towards the development or acquisition of real estate, specifically for commercial/industrial purposes. The Agency also offers manufacturing loans towards setting up or buying of existing Manufacturing enterprises.

Trade Finance

CEDA offers Trade Finance facilities across product offerings such as Invoice Discounting, Factoring, Performance Bonds, Suppliers Guarantees, Bank Guarantees and other Credit Guarantees.

Mabogo-Dinku

CEDA provides subsidized loans for various micro-entrepreneurs to enable citizen participation in enterprise development. Mabogo-Dinku loan offers micro-enterprises an opportunity and enables citizen participation in enterprise development. Mabogo-Dinku loan provides micro-enterprises with funds for their needs e.g working capital and small asset finance.

Structured Finance

Our aim is to meet the revised CEDA guidelines and to fulfil the mandate given to us by the Botswana Government. CEDA seeks to achieve these two objectives through its participation in business propositions that are financially viable and sustainable in the medium to long term and provide a positive developmental impact from a socio-economic perspective.

Training and Mentoring

CEDA plays a critical role in the economy by providing entrepreneurship development, through funding, training and mentoring. Training and mentoring are interconnected as they both attempt to cultivate the right entrepreneurial skills by providing the CEDA beneficiaries with hand holding services for business related functions such as marketing management
