Prerequisites for Submitting an Appeal
Appeal Eligibility Criteria
- You can submit an appeal if you have received a formal CEDA decision.
Full Appraisal
- Your loan application must have been thoroughly reviewed and assessed by CEDA.
Justified Appeal
- Your appeal should directly address the decline reasons and demonstrate the viability of your project..
Steps to Submit an Appeal
Step 1: Write an Appeal Letter
- Address it to the CEDA Board Chairperson.
- Clearly explain why your application should be reconsidered.
- Respond to the reasons your loan was declined.
Step 2: Submit Your Appeal
- Submit your appeal at any CEDA office.
- You may also email it to appeals@ceda.co.bw.
Step 3: Submit on Time
- Submit your appeal within 30 calendar days from the date of receiving the rejection letter.
Important
- Attach your rejection letter and ensure that your appeal clearly addresses the rejection reasons.
- Follow all steps to avoid delays or rejection.
- Only signed letters by the appellant(s) will be considered.
- Please note that for loan amounts exceeding BWP 1,000,000.00, you will be charged an appeal fee not less than BWP 2,000.00 but not exceeding BWP 5,000.00. See the CEDA pricing schedule.
