CEDA STAFF GIVE BACK IN CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY INITIATIVE

On Saturday 10 March 2018, fifteen (15) staff members along with the Goodhope Sub District Council took time off from their weekend and got involved in the completion of a two (2) roomed house built in Pitsane for Ms Moleseng Sereiwa. Staff painted the exterior and interior of the house along with clearing of rubble and planting of fruit trees and shrubs.

This house forms part of the Agency’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme which aims to uplift various communities throughout the country. In January 2018, the Agency committed to helping the Southern District Council in building this home.

The recipient, Ms Sereiwa has been living in a dilapidated structure which has been deemed inhabitable by the Southern District Council. From seeing her living conditions the Councils Social and Community Development Department saw the need to seek help for Ms Sereiwa in finding a more dignified home whilst also improving her life.
