CEDA WELCOMES INAUGURAL GRADUATE DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME GROUP

On the 02nd March 2020, the Citizen Entrepreneurial Development Agency (CEDA) welcomed the first group of ten (10)graduates to the Graduate Development Programme (GDP). Through the Graduate Development Programme (GDP), the Agency Aims to unearth talent from high- performing citizen graduates to increase and diversify the existing pool of talented individuals for present and future functional and leadership positions.

CEDA Chief Executive Officer, Mr Thabo Thamane, indicated the there was a total of 1978 applications recieved from graduates across the country and stressed the hardwork and patience it took for the selection of the final ten. He did however mention that this programme was  new to the Agency and that the numbers will gradually increase as the programme matures over the years. "We are excited bout your credentials, being your degrees and masters etc, and we have realised that nowadays it is not only scholard who hold the conventional degrees from accounting and economics backgrounds that are available in the market, we need to consider other programmes for intake who will get to experience various elements of the Development Financial Institution Industry." speaking directly to the graduates, Mr Thamane mentioned that they are joining the Agency as it is approaching the final year of its three- year strategy and that he looked forward to the input that the graduates would make towards the planning and execution of the next organisational strategy.
